My colleague Vincent Calvetti and I are semi-finalists for the Husky Seed Fund! We will be presenting our project “UW’s Unwritten Rules: A Husky Roadmap to Academic Life” on May 4th. The project seeks to bridge the institutional knowledge and access gap for all students at the UW. To accomplish this task, we aim to have a podcast and blog series, with UW faculty and student participants. We will tackle themes of collaboration, funding, writing, research, and mentorship. Our hope is to give students no-cost tools to navigate campus life, address unmet needs, and unknown rules. We believe we can then strive for a more just and equitable society.
